https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=iYol7m3WjGQ
2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Supercharged

THE DUCAFE – DUCATI MONSTER 795 ’13

DUCAFE - 8-01

The Ducati Monster is one of the most iconic motorcycles of all time. Since it went on sale in 1993, over 275,000 have rolled out of the Bologna factory—and they’ve kept Ducati financially stable over the past two decades. The first Monster, the M900, used a version of the air-cooled 900SS engine and pumped out 73 hp. The latest 1200S is water-cooled and has almost double the power, at 145 hp. As of November 2010, the Ducati Monster family consists of the 659, 696, 796 and 1100 Evo. In October 2011, Ducati unveiled a new addition to the Monster family, the 795. Essentially a 696 frame with the larger 803cc engine from the 796 wedged into it, the 795 is aimed specifically at the Asian market and will be assembled in a plant in Thailand.
Back for our readers, this is the second Cafe Racer build to roll out of us. Saw in the previous articles we released our 2008 Yamaha Scorpio 225 Cafe Racer which had us eagerly waiting for more and they certainly haven’t disappointed. This is the Studio Motor 2013 Ducati Monster 795 based, inspired Cafe Racer.
DUCAFE - 9-01
We worked with the bikes owner to design a cafe racer based on the Ducati Monster 795 mixing retro styling with modern engineering. Under the direction of the bikes owner the suspension was to remain untouched, but the rest of it’s appearance was open to our interpretation. The tall upside down front forks, mono-shock rear and modern alloy swing arm didn’t quite have the retro look suited to a cafe racer, but the rest of the bike showed potential like a modern cafe. The first step was the removal of the factory plastics, bodywork and not so cool, or classic windshield. To replace the original bodywork the Studio Motor team handcrafted a new tank, tail and half fairing out of 1.2mm steel. Its unique shape was designed to hug the flowing of the stock main frame perfectly. Finished in solid, classic blue and white with red and green stripes on the side tank it’s more suited to the bike than the factory tank ever was and features a Studio Motor Design engraved fuel cap, also we combined with a leather strap at the top. The only modification to the frame came in the sub frame, changed an original sub frame with a new one used 1 inch seamless pipe. Why we did that? Cafe Racer need a flat looks from tank to tail. For a more retro look the stock wheels was replaced with a TK Japan spoke wheels 17X3.50 inch and 17X5.00 inch for front and rear and then treated to a set of slick tires Pirelli Diablo Super Corsa 120/70-17 and 180/60-17. Put the custom 2-into-1 stainless steel header at the side tail, made the rear side looks clean.
DUCAFE - 7-01
A proud workshop with a patriotic attitude and ability to carry out the majority of work ourselves, has allowed us to create something beautiful. With the build finished, there is only one thing left to do, and it is best summed up by us: “Let’s do the ton, brother!”

THE MARATHON – YAMAHA SCORPIO 225 ’08

SCORPIO PANDE - 3-01

While most of us would choose a donor bike for a custom project based on whatever cool whim may be currently tickling our fancy, it’s important to remember that many bike lovers the world over aren’t able to get their hands on a well loved CB Honda, Triumph, Harley Davidson or antique BMW boxer at the drop of a hat. With the notable exception of Japan, the Asian bike market, for example in Indonesia, has long been turf owned by small capacity bikes rather than the large-capacity bikes favored by the West.So what do you do when all you want is a sweet, 70’s inspired Café Racer that will turn a few heads and the only bike you have handy looks like an cheap extra from a Transformers movie? Just call us, that’s what.
SCORPIO PANDE - 9-02
Come on…we started by our customer’s brief, he called us to build his bike with a cool concept to turn his 2008 Yamaha Scorpio 225 into a Café Racer style. Let’s start to do that! The first step focused on replacing the forks with a choice of 41 mm telescopic front shock belonging to a Yamaha Byson. The 16 X 3.00 inch front rim was paired with a Firestone Ribbed 5.00-16 tire and the rear wheel is a 16 X 3.50 inch hoop paired with a Firestone Ribbed 5.00-16. We made a custom swing arm was and the bike’s owner choose a 360 mm Ohlins Progressive rear shock. Look at the brake system, sorry for did not used disc brake. Our customer need to used Triumph Conical Drum Brake for front and BSA Conical Drum Brake for rear. After that, we got on with the process of making the bodywork. Selected 1.2 mm galvanized plate was formed according to the clients instructions. Once the process was complete, they turned the pieces over to Komet Studio, which laid done the white base, minimalist blue and red candy stripes with a Marathon logo at the side tank and clear varnish using Sikkens colours. While we were waiting for the paint to dry, all the other key items on the bike were powder coated black mate, and a nice pair of clip on handlebars were selected along with the remaining bits and pieces to ensure a unified overall look. Finally, cool stuff custom exhaust fabbed up some waste gas tubes that not only sounded boss, but also added a little more urgency to the Yamaha’s rather humble horse powers.
SCORPIO PANDE - 2-01
The finished bike surprises the owner. Combination of the color choices and extreme simplicity of the bike that does it included the selection of the appropriate parts  Half his luck.

THE RUSTLE – HARLEY DAVIDSON SPORTSTER XL883 ’02

SPORTSTER OTO - 9-01

It’s true. Sometimes the simple things in life are often the best. Take for example this 2002 Harley Davidson Sportster XL883 build with collabration between us and our senior, Flying Piston Garage. No clutter, no mess, no flair. Just clean lines, a simple colour palette and beautifully exposed and finished mechanical goodness. Our Harley Davidson Sportster Xl883 build mixed like boardtracker style and WLA style named ‘The Rustle’ is our latest creation.  “The Rustle is a classic motorcycle look, the perfect balance between brute and refinement”.
SPORTSTER OTO - 11-01

Let’s start about the story! Frame handmade was done with hard character by our senior, Flying Piston Garage. They have a workshop in Bandung, West Java, and have a very big talented to build old skool looks. Using images source they also made a springer front fork like WLA model. The tank, front fender and rear fender was hand fabricated in 1.2 mm galvanized steel to match the boardtracker style as closely as possible with only photographs as a reference point. Dimensions were modified to fit up with the classic handmade frame. The 1954 XL’s original drum brake were fitted with 19 inch spoke wheels and Avon Speed Master MKII 4.00-19 for front and rear. Front and rear drum brakes provide plenty of stopping power for the 883 cc v-twin and go perfectly with the bikes classic look. Upgrade the looks, some of engine parts has been engraved manually with a tribal and flower style and didn’t missed to put a Harley Davidson logo. The all body has been finished in classic white with black/dark brown pinstripe by local spray painters Komet Studio with the Harley Davidson words on tank sides.

THE TEMPER – KAWASAKI VERSYS 650 ’14

VERSYS - 5-01-01

Nothing ever really goes to plan. The multitude of options available to us at any one time makes it hard to know where we will end up. Unless it’s time to go to the night club, because that is a given. This indecisiveness through an excess of options affects the custom motorcycle world as well, with culture/drivetrain/performance/bike styling choices making it hard to settle on one result. This is what happened with today’s feature bike, the latest offering from us, call it THE TEMPER that we built from 2014 Kawasaki Versys 650.When the custom motorcycle scene in Indonesia booming, it is no wonder more and more people want to be seen riding one. Take for instance like Bro Anas D.V, He bring his bike and wanted to get the feel of riding a custom bike that converted to a scrambler style. “When I choose this bike, I knew that I needed to modify this bike. The distinctive suspension looks perfect for a scrambler style”, says Anas. The engine is a 649 cc liquid-cooled, four-stroke parallel twin with a bore X stroke of 83 mm x 60 mm.
